Common Stripe problems and answers:

Q: I need to change my 2 step verification. How do I do that?

'I don't have any of these'

Verify using your identity document linked on the account or confirm account details

Q: Stripe won't verify my EIN number.

A: If your EIN was created in the last few weeks, it likely means the IRS has not updated it in their system yet. If the IRS doesn't have it yet, Stripe is unable to verify. Best chance of success is to wait and allow it some time to get caught up in the system.

Q: I have a US bank account, but I live in Canada. What country should I choose?

A: Unfortunately Stripe will only work if you have a bank account in the same country you're located in. If you're in Canada, you cannot use a US bank account. Same goes for United Kingdom. You must use a bank account in the country that you are in.

Q: I'm unable to payout to my account. What do I do?

A: There is likely something that needs to be authorized on the account. Please login to either Stripe directly or go through our creator portal: https://creator.influencelogic.com/ to ensure everything is verified and up to date.

Q: I'm not sure I want to give my personal details to Stripe.

A: Stripe is one of the most secure payment platforms available. Stripe needs to verify that you are who you say you are and that you have the authority to create the account. This information is a part of Stripe’s Know-Your-Customer policy. These requirements come from US regulators and are intended to prevent abuse of the financial system.

Q: Stripe isn't verifying my personal details.

A: Information provided needs to match documents exactly. Most likely, there is an alphabetical error or numerical error that is causing the problem. Please triple check that everything lines up perfectly.
