What is agency validation?
Agency validation is a part of our onboarding process at InfluenceLogic the first time we do a deal together. We must verify that your agency has the authority to negotiate and receive payments on behalf of the talent.
Why is this important?
Our mission at InfluenceLogic is to empower creators. In order to do so, we must provide a level of security to ensure that they feel confident and comfortable working together. We are following industry-standard safety measures with a 2-step verification process.
Do we need to exclusively represent the creator?
No, you don't have to exclusively represent the creator. You must confirm that you're authorized to enter into a contracted agreement with InfluenceLogic on behalf of the talent for a specific contracted deal with I.
How do we validate our agency?
In order to authorize your account, you must choose 2 out of the 3 options below that require the talent's participation.
1. Youtube Description
The creator must include a sentence in their Youtube Channel description that confirms they control the account. Several sentence options are available:
- For authorization purposes only
- Represented by ( Agency Name )
- Account is verified.
Instructions on how to make that update:
- Sign in to YouTube Studio.
- From the left menu, select Customisation Basic info.
- Enter your new channel description.
- Click PUBLISH.
Customer Success must sign off on the description before the sentence is removed.
2. Agreement
When logging into the agent portal, both the agent and the creator must sign off on the release form available in Step 2.
3. Email
The creator must be looped into a conversation with the Customer Success team from the same email that is linked in the creator's 'About' section. They must reply to confirm.
What happens after we are validated?
Once our Customer Success team has authenticated your account, you are officially eligible to do deals with InfluenceLogic. Please continue any open discussions with your InfluenceLogic Partnerships Manager.
